LOL is the story of Danny, a lonely guy who ventures onto the internet in search of a companion. Little by little he is drawn into the world of anonymous chat sites where he creates an online feminine personality called Karen who is everything Danny is not - outgoing, agressive and very sexual. Eventually his harmless fantasy transforms into a dangerous reality when Karen, Danny's internet Frankenstein, rules his life both on-line and off.
