I am just writing to let you know how much we (my students and I) enjoyed the production of Tartuffe directed by Charles Gerber. I loved the acting and wanted to mention how much I enjoyed Cleanté's "sensible" speeches and facial expressions: ranging from disbelief to disgruntlement to a saintly patience with the silliness of Mme. Pernelle and Tartuffe himself. The cast had chemistry, energy, and great wit in their interpretations of the super-clever translation.

Everything in and about the production fits...the splendid acting ensemble combine to present a timeless look and an opportunity to laugh at human gullibility and weakness...it's all an awful lot of fun.
Paul Weidner’s translation, with its political edge, its humor, and its moral lessons, is necessary and timely. If you’re a fan of Tartuffe you will not be disappointed. If you’ve never seen the play, WorkShop Theatre’s production is a nice entrée to this classic work.

"Florencia is fearless and funny...I personally don't appear on stage myself very often, but I couldn't resist the opportunity of performing some very fun material with Florencia. As a consummate actor and, as it turns out, fierce playwright, she's an inspiration and a delight."
